Russia invitation letter from Turkey
Ordinary tourist stays up to 60 days are visa-free for Turkish passports, so no invitation is used at the border. Order an invitation when you need a visa (longer stay, certain categories) or you are a non-Turkish resident applying at a Russian post in Turkey.

If you are a Turkish citizen visiting as a tourist for under 60 days, do not buy an invitation — you will not present it.
Residents of other nationalities who apply in Istanbul still need an invitation whenever their own passport requires a regular visa.
Work, study and some business stays are outside the visa-free tourist rule.

Holders of this passport have two routes into Russia, and only one of them needs an invitation.
- Before you commission anything, compare the two routes on invitation versus the unified e-visa — for short stays the e-visa removes the invitation entirely.
- Choose the category that matches your trip: tourist confirmation and voucher for leisure travel, or a business invitation for meetings and contracts.
- Budget with the breakdown of invitation and consular fees and plan around current issuing times.
- When the document arrives, verify its registry number before you book a consular appointment.
